HTC Snap Mobile Review

HTC Snap also referred to as the HTC S522 in the US, is HTC’s latest non touch screen phone and was released in June 2009. Having dimensions of 116.5 x 61.5 x 12 mm and weighing just 120 grams, the HTC Snap 2.4 inches TFT screen comes equipped with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and 65k color. However the most important feature of this phone is the presence of a QWERTY Keyboard with Trackball navigation. This Keyboards layout is neat and well crafted, and allows comfortable typing. This makes it easy for users who are on the go and use the phone extensively for sending across sms’s and emails.

Coming down to storage the HTC Snap has 192MB RAM and a 256MB ROM. It supports photo calling like most of the other phones available in today’s market do, and practically has an unlimited call record history. Additionally the Snap has a memory card slot which supports a microSD (TransFlash) memory card up to 16GB. Keeping in mind the fact that the HTC Snap is a business phone, it offers great connectivity. Not only does it support GPRS and EDGE, but also has Wi-Fi and 3G support. These different modes of connectivity are important for one to stay connected at all times and keep in touch with the outside world.

Powered with powerful 528 MHz processor, the Snap operates with the help of Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard Operating system. The Snap runs quite smoothly, and in addition to the features mentioned above, the Snap has a 2 Mega Pixel camera, which makes it one complete business phone.
